- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★I really like the service I receive at the Escondido Post Office on E. Valley Pkwy. They are very fast considering there are usually only 2 at the counter and always friendly. I have never had any problems. I avoid the Escondido PO on N. Escondido Blvd. Service is slow and: I mailed 2 packages at the same time with tracking. First, the guy asked me what was in it. I felt very uncomfortable answering his question. Second, the package going across the country got there, the one going to northern CA did not. Tracking said it never left the post office. This made me nervous especially after I was asked what was in the package. The postal person said the PO on Mission was the main office where my package went next. I drove there; he said no that wasn't true. I drove back, she went to the back room, came out and said wait a couple days, it's probably late. Well my daughter received her package shortly after, so I think the PO found it and sent it out. She could have told me that and apologized saying I will personally make sure it gets out today. Love the Valley Pkwy office and will drive out of my way to go there.By Jazz, February 22, 2017
